Secret 1

Would you like to make your presentations 97% successful, by changing just 1 thing? You know when you learn something new, often it’s the exact opposite of what you were doing before & you have to fight with yourself to change because it feels so strange at first. It’s not easy even when you know it’s the right thing to do, that’s why you need help to push you a bit.
Pixar
Pixar is possibly the most profitable film company of all time with a 97% success rate. They’ve won many awards & only ever had one film which didn’t work. Steve Jobs says the key is that while most films are made by shooting a lot of film & then trying to edit it, the problem is if it’s no good, it’s too late to redo & so it gets released & flops. Pixar, edits the movies before they make them, so they know it will be good.
Backwards
The key to doing something great & feeling confident about it is to do it backwards. Start at the end & reverse engineer it. It’s similar to investing. Most people buy shares when the price is high because everyone’s excited. When the price is low everyone’s terrified. But if you think about it if you want to make money you want to buy when the price is low, the opposite of what everyone else is doing.
PowerPoint
Most people when they want to make a presentation, open the presentation software first like PowerPoint & start to make the slides, that’s just what they know. But just like the films the problem is once the presentation has been made & then it doesn’t really work, it’s to late to change it & bexaue you know it doesn’t really work, you won’t feel confident & you’re audience reaction will make you feel even more nervous.
Last
So in this system which I’ve created for making presentations so you can feel very confident when you give them, we don’t start with the slides & work towards the event, we do it backwards. We start with the details of the event & then one of the last things we do it to make the slides.
Be a great presenter!
